Movement Art International Dance Festival
Welcome to the first edition of the Movement Art International Dance Festival, where extraordinary performances push traditional boundaries. Combining dance with visual art, music, poetry, singing and more, the festival invites the audience on an inspiring journey. Each curated piece is selected for its emotional depth and thought-provoking nature. The festival will take place from 26 to 28 September 2024 at the Europahalle Trier in Germany and the Mierscher Theater in Mersch, Luxembourg, and will feature seven exceptional performances by six renowned international dance companies.
We underline the importance of cultural exchange and unity. The festival brings together people from Germany and Luxembourg as well as guests from all over the world and creates a platform for shared artistic experiences and mutual understanding. This international collaboration fosters integration and openness and enables audiences to appreciate and celebrate local and international culture and artistic expression. The festival promotes cultural exchange and inspires local dancers through workshops.
